Our human-sized company created in 2022 is for its creator the culmination of more than 20 years of professional life in several sectors of activity.

Sébastien Leroy, manager of Taurus Transports, gives you a brief overview of the journey that led him to Taurus Transports:

​

"From 1997 and for 12 years, as a consultant in a large IT group, I traveled the roads of France and Europe to work for very different clients within the framework of projects on the logistics, purchasing , sales, shipments... From agri-food to nuclear via more traditional industry, I learned the diversity and specificities of each industrial sector.

​

In 2009, my passion for heavy goods transport took over and made me become a freight driver. After a solid training, I concretized the apprenticeship of this profession of driver directly on the ground, in the Nantes region, starting on the public works tipper, in order to acquire the dexterity necessary for this very technical profession.

​

Very quickly, I expanded my skills by working on both tautliner and refrigerated distribution vehicles. This quickly led me on the roads of France in the service of Transports Laperche, a Nantes-based company of the Chatel Group.

​

My passion for entrepreneurship and always wanting to serve better led me quite naturally to the project to create Taurus Transports.

​

Much more than a simple transport, it is above all a quality service that I offer. Listening to my clients, close to their needs, I aspire to deliver them the best of myself by sharing the values I would especially like: rigor, respect and efficiency. »

Taurus Transports, a company based in the South of Brittany, near Nantes, is there to ensure the safe transport of goods, from 1 to 34 pallets, up to 28 tonnes, throughout France and internationally.

Our extremely recent truck and tautliner provides transport in full compliance with the current environmental standards.
